Another unique option that Habitec offers is the Medical Alert with fall detection capability. This system provides reliable notifications of fall emergencies and eliminates the chances of the individual left on the floor, unable to press a button or call out for help.

Versus other product being sold as a fall detector, our system works effectively every time. The Habitec fall detector has a simple tilt-switch, any vertical deviation of over 60 degrees. Once this threshold is met, it transmits to the base station and announces thru the speaker "USER HAS FALLEN".

The system will announce this to the customer four times in intervals of 30 seconds progressively getting louder, allowing them the opportunity to cancel an unwanted alarm. During this timeframe the customer can also simply turn the fall detector right side up again canceling the alarm. The integrated emergency button of course can be pressed anytime.
